July 26 Today in OPC History

On this date in 1956 the Committee on Christian Education reported to the Twenty-Third General Assembly meeting in Denver, Colorado, that it had added two new gospel tracts to its publications. The Committee printed 4,000 copies of George Marston’s Are You a Biblical Baptist? and 2,000 copies of Edward Elliott’s Ordained Lampstand. CCE General Secretary Robley Johnston also announced that it had reprinted Henry Coray’s A Message to Thoughtful Inquirers, Edward Kellogg’s Lest We Forget, R. B. Kuiper’s Rich Young Ruler, Robert Atwell’s The Bible?, Paul Woolley’s Are You a Catholic?, and Marston’s Communicant Church Membership.
