September 20 Today in OPC History

On Saturday, September 20, 2003, the Presbytery of Philadelphia met at Calvary OPC, Middletown, Pennsylvania. Moderator Arthur Fox opened the meeting with prayer and John Van Meerbeke delivered the devotional service. Ministerial members present in addition to Mr. Fox and Mr. VanMeerbeke included Chad Bond, Paul Browne, Donald Duff, Thomas Foh, Richard Gaffin, Jr., Theodore Georgian, Arthur Kuschke, Richard MacLaren, Jonathan Peters, Benjamin Snodgrass, Wendell Stoltzfus, Joel Kershner, A. Craig Troxel, Thomas Tyson, Timothy Walker, Larry Westerveld, and Timothy Young. Ruling elder representatives included David Gregg (Middletown), Kenneth Truscott (Allentown), David Hoff (Easton), John Kramer (Glenside), Dennis Silbaugh (Middletown), Payton Gardner (Wilmington, DE), Andrew Duggan (Lansdowne), Todd Hurd (Gettysburg), J. Charles Hanson (Mansfield), Tom Tomer (Hatboro), and Joseph Smith III (Williamsport).
